Oh heavenly Father, You alone are worthy to be praised. May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us, that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations. May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth. May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you. Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us. Lord let us lift up our requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be for everyone-- for our president and all those in authority in our country, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases You our God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men--the testimony given in its proper time. (1 Tim 2:1-6)

Lord, you're looking for people among us who will build up the wall and stand before You in the gap on behalf of our land so You will not have to destroy it. May You find us and hear us Lord! So You will withhold Your wrath from us. (Ezekiel 22:30-31)

Lord, we mourn for what we see in our land and we ask You to bless those who mourn and they will be comforted. (Matt 5:4)

Lord, we pray that as a nation we will put no other gods before you (Ex. 20:3-5) and that we desire to follow Your ways and not the ways of man (Acts 5:29) That we shall seek to clean out unrighteousness that is among us. Lord we pray that our nation will consecrate itself to You and purify our country before You. That our country shall remove all the unclean things that are found in it. (2 Chron 29:15-17)

Lord, we pray that our nation will not tolerate the sexually immorality, the adulterers and homosexuality. That same sex marriages will be forbidden as it is against Your will (1 Cor. 6:9) We pray that we not tolerate murder or child sacrifices in the form of abortions. (Lev. 18:21; Ezekiel 23:37-39; Ex. 20:13) We pray that our nation will not scheme or lie among ourselves or with others. We pray that our leaders and government will not accept bribes, charge excess taxes or allow financial institution to charge excess interests and forget our Lord. (Ezk. 22:6-12) Lord, we pray and ask that our nation stop excessive spending and follow Your principals concerning finances. We pray and ask as we're commanded to render to Caesar what is Caesar's (Matt 22:21) that tax payers not be burdened with excessive taxes, but pay only what is fair and reasonable as You lead our leaders to govern and spend taxes collected wisely.

Lord we pray that we as Americans will recognize the importance of the democratic process and let our voices be raised and heard.  That Americans see through any  political rhetoric, understand the truth and that the truth shine through in the public debates & town hall meetings. Lord, may our nation walk in righteousness. (Proverbs 14:34)

Lord, may we as Americans seek Your will as we voice our concerns with our representatives.  May we seek Your will and not the advice of others nor be swayed by false political advertisements. Lord, may we live as the wise and not the foolish making the most of this opportunity because the days are evil. Let us not be foolish, but understand what Your will is. (Eph. 5:15-17)

Lord, we pray that You mercifully give our country leaders of integrity, who govern in righteousness, wisdom and Biblical truth. Lord, we know Your Word says Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. (Rom 13:1) Lord, we pray for godly leaders for when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan. (Proverbs 29:2)

Lord, we ask You to lead our President, Vice President, Secretary of State and Speaker of the House, the Representatives, Congress people and the judicial branch as they represent our nation here and abroad. May you lead them to lead this nation in a way that is worthy of You Lord. Lord, we ask You to give them wisdom. Your Word says if any one is lacking to ask and You will give it. Lord, we pray that they ask for Your wisdom and You lead them. (James 1)

Lord, we pray about the representatives and congress people as they visit their constituents on this break. We pray that Your truth be revealed about any issues that are being proposed such as the Health Care Bill. Lord we pray that their views on the issues be clear and concise. Lord, we ask that the people country be informed of the truth and not deceived.  Lord, we ask that You lead these representatives and congress persons and their advisors.

Father, please have mercy upon us and forgive our nation for its many sins. Forgive us for making "self" the center of our American culture. Forgive us for questioning Your Sovereignty and existence. Lord, May we as Your people humble ourselves, and pray and seek Your face, and turn from our wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, and will forgive us our sin and heal our land. (2 Chron 7:14)

Forgive us, the Body of Christ, for not praying for our leaders consistently. We ask the Holy Spirit, if there are any leaders who need to forgive anyone, please bring it to their remembrance and help them to forgive.

We ask that the political process will yield to Your plans for this country. We ask that each representatives and congress persons will walk by faith and not by sight. Father, Your Word states that You hold the heart of the king in Your hand and You will turn it in the direction that You choose. We ask that the hearts of all the country's leaders,  and people will be guided by the power of the Holy Spirit. We ask that peace to be still within all issues. In Jesus name, we ask You Lord to crush the demonic devices that are being designed to stir up negativity, cynicism, and hopelessness among the American people. We ask that all the leaders, and public servants to address the issues, take the "high road," and inspire American people to be involved.

We ask You Lord to place Your hedge of safety and security around all the leaders, public servants, military, law enforcement, first responders and people of this nation . We ask Your hedge of protection be with those members of the military who are serving on foreign soil. We ask You to guide them as the work their campaigns to keep our country safe. We ask You Lord that no weapon formed against this country & its servants  will prosper and every tongue, which rises against this country and its people in judgment, will be condemned by God who has mercy on their souls. Lord, we pray for the families of these public servants and that You protect them and encourage them.

Father, You are a God of order, therefore we ask that Your order to operate within each leaders sphere of influence, public servants and people. We ask that by the power of Your Word, which we speak with boldness and faith, will interrupt the airwaves and destroy every word that is spoken by the media that does not align with Your will for our leaders, all town hall meetings and public servants offices. We ask You Lord that every attempt to misconstrue the Truth will be confused, in Jesus Name. We ask You Lord that the democratic process will be implemented fairly throughout our nation during the democratic process of voting for bills.

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We declare Your sovereignty and awesomeness!

"Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" Lord, let us hear every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" Lord, may we all fall down and worship. (Rev. 5:12-14)

We trust You have heard our prayers and trust Your will to be done. Lord Your eyes are on those who fear You, on those whose hope is in Your unfailing love. We wait and hope in You, Lord, who is our help and our shield.  May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you. (Ps. 33:18, 20, 22)
